April, 1975. $.95 is the original price. 192 pages. Very tight binding. Medium beige paper. Green colour on the edges. Front Cover: A line crease from book opening is by the Spine. One triangular wrinkle/crease is at the top right corner (extending inward ½") and there are also two partial creases (extending inward 1½" and 3"). Three ½" light creases are at the right edge and there are the usual fingernail indents. A small bit of edge wear is along the edges. Spine: A line crease from book opening plus some light edge wear along the edges, but mostly at the bottom of the right side (2½" high). Back Cover: Creased corners and several creases at the Spine side. The back is what I call "Fair" condition due to these creases. Some edge wear along the edges. In General: Page 33 has a small corner fold at the upper right and this mark has continued into a few other pages. Pages 35-39 have a light - brown spot on the right margin, but it's nothing much. A couple of water spots are on the top edge but all that was done was to slightly lighten the green edge colour as the paper's fine. Story: I rather like the line: "To know her, was to hate her". Anyway, Poirot feels sympathy for the murder victim and, as usual, everyone's a suspect as everyone has a really good reason to knock off the old lady.
