Spine: Water touched. For half the distance to the bottom of the book there are small spots where another book touched it. There's a small bit of black colour transfer at the top and a very small bit of pink colour bleed at the bottom.
In General: The upper corner has a ¼" upward bend which extends through most of the book. The bottom of the right corner has a similar bend but it stops at page 22. With the exception of the Spine the rest of the book is as new.
Story: A Professor injects his pregant wife with a serum and she gives birth to a super - human. Originally published in 1930 this book was possibly the inspiration for the original Superman comic. (Wylie also wrote When Worlds Collide, made into a movie.)
