Wrapper: Water rippled.
In General: The book Covers are just slightly water touched as the Wrapper took the main hit. A few small (1/8") bits of puffiness along the Spine where it joins to the Front Cover plus there are some light marks on the Back and Front Covers from being in contact with the damp Wrapper.
A very small black partial line from the Wrapper is at the top and bottom of the book. Inside of the Front and Back Covers is some tan colour where the Wrapper was originally glued to the book. The last page of the book had a Library pocket taken out which left a rough surface. The first page has the usual number and date stamp. The bottom edge has a stamp and the top edge has a few stamped numbers.
Story: An Earth pilot is commissioned to land on an Alien world as he is considered to be the one most likely to succeed. But.....
