146 pages, with Chapter Headings, book advertising and a little Biography of the Author. Light tan paper. Tight copy.(The two Covers feature a beautiful, scenic pastel of what appears to be a chateau in the distance and a bucolic countryside. I presume that the red-roofed building represents the Author's schoolhouse. Very nice.) Front Cover: A bottle ring outline at about the middle of the left side. A partial triangular wrinkle/crease is at the bottom edge (about ½" high). Two minor fingernail scratches. Back Cover: A straight line wrinkle/crease from book opening (about 1/4" from the Spine) plus a secondary irregular wrinkle/crease (about 1" x 4" long) at the same side. In General: A previous Owner's name is written at the upper right side of the first page. Three pages have very minor notation marks. There's also an original advertising insert for anyone who was interested in buying a recording which would teach them English. Four manufacturing paper indents where it attaches to the Spine are on the very last page. Story: A Classic French rendition of Adolescence, first love and a search to locate her. (Noble, silly boy!) Note: The Author only wrote this one book before being killed in World War 1 in 1914. En français, seulment.
