U.K. #2322. December, 1970. 5 Shillings is the original price. 124 pages, plus book advertising at the back of the book. Medium beige paper. Tight binding. Front Cover: 2 very small pieces of the Cover surface are missing. One is a semi-circular area (about 1" x 1/16") and the other is the same measurement, but is 1 1/2" long, and in a straight line, toward the upper portion of the Cover. Spine: One wrinkle/crease, down the middle. Back Cover: A 3" x 2" portion of the surface is missing where another book Cover had stuck to it. In General: The paper is gently water-rippled along the outer edges (extending inward, about 2") but it's not too noticeable, except that the paper is slightly coarser looking where the paper fibres swelled, then dried. Story: A brief history of the Berbers, in northern Africa, who would become what we know as the Barbary Pirates, or "Barbarians", as the Greeks said of anyone not speaking Greek.
