5 Shillings is the original price. 190 pages plus one page of book advertising. Medium tan paper, becomng a bit darker at the top and bottom (about 1") and the side (about ½"). A very tight copy. Contains: Four pages of black-and-white photos of the Author caring for various animals.
Front Cover: 3 small fingernail indents. One small (1") indent is at the top.
Spine: A few small, nearly invisible scratches and a fold are by the Spine side where it was opened.
Spine: A bit of rubbing along the edges of the Spine where it joins the Covers and there's a very small amount of the same at the top and bottom edges.
Back Cover: A triangular fold about ½" deep is on the left top edge. There are also 4 small squiggles as if a paper was placed on top of the Cover and then marking was done on that, transferring it as there appear to be 3 wobbly lines as if a book were being outlined. There's also a 1½" crease along the bottom right edge.
In General: There's a slight amount of rubbing along the top of the Back and Front covers.
