February, 1947. No price is indicated but it's probably $.25. 202 pages plus one page of book advertising. Tan paper, turning darker around the edges. Red colour on the edges which has bled for about 1" inward from the page edges.
In General: Various wrinkle/creases on both Covers. The End papers are reddish due to colour bleed. Page 111 has a 1" semi-circular piece at the bottom which is missing. There's an old Dealer's name stamp on the inside of the Front Cover and some date stamps are on the edge of the book. Condition is as mentioned.
Story: An old woman is murdered and Inspector Battle has to solve the case.
