Bach, Richard Jonathan Livingston Seagull U.S. Avon Books. 1973 First Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Fine Minus. Photographs: Munson, Russell. January, 1973. $1.50 original price. 127 pages. White paper. Tight binding, except between pages 86-87. Front Cover: A width-wise, straight line, faint, white mark at the bottom of the cover. Top 2" has some water scuffing, which removed little flecks of colour, here-and-there. Edge wear along the top and bottom edges, more so, at the top. Spine: One wrinkle/crease, towards where the last few pages would be in the book. Some edge wear at the top and bottom edges. Back cover: The upper left corner has a few slivers of cover surface missing, plus small flecks of water scuffing from another book. Probably this scuffing is from dampness. Some minor edge wear along the top and bottom edges. Bach wrote this nice little story about a seagull but he Humanized the seagull for us. It was a very popular book in its day because of the way he wrote it. I believe a movie was also made of the book. It's like a Winnie the Pooh, but for a bird. A good read. Price: 8.50 USD
