November, 1972. $.95 original price. 186 pages. Very tight binding. Light beige paper. Front Cover: Lower right side has two pieces of the surface cover missing. 1/4" x 3", in a horizontal pattern, widthwise, close to the middle, and 1", closing to 1/2", beside the right edge. Numerous small, white flecks where another cover had taken tiny pieces of the surface from it. A straight line crease beside the spine, where the book was opened. Slight edge wear along the edges. Spine: Small bit of edge wear at the top, and bottom edges. Back Cover: A 2" slight crease at the upper left edge. In General: Water touched, leaving a gentle roll to the paper as one looks at the book, sideways (4 highs and 2 lows, in the rolling). Story: A collection of shorts, by some top Authors - Bradbury, Asimov, del Ray, Arthur C. Clarke, Dick, Vance, Matheson, et al. Pohl generally always put out good s.f. collections. September, 1965. $.50 original price. 158 pages, plus advertising at the back of the book. Medium beige paper. Very tight. Pale red colouring to the edging. Bottom, right corner creased and extends inward for about 1".The book was probably dropped there. Gently water rippled throughout and a bit stiff to open as the water changed the wood fibre. Powers, Richard - Cover February, 1962. $.50 original price. 171 pages, plus advertising at the back of the book. Light beige paper, a bit darker at the edges (3/4"). Very tight copy. Light orange colouring to the edging. A couple of small, barely visible, 1/4" indents on the front cover. Very Small amount of edge wear at the top, and bottom, of the spine. Very small edge wear at the top, and bottom, of the back cover. Some nearly-invisible mottling spots on both covers, but not too visible and nothing much to worry over. Back cover, top and bottom edge, has two, tiny spots where a string, or something similar, could have tied them into a bundle (I think), as this is how they once were handled. As the title says, this is a story, in the Future, where a Lawyer battles Corporate interests legally, and physically. Some of what was Science Fiction is now closer than we think. Soft Cover. $.35 original price. 165 pages, plus a Biog. of the authors and book advertising at the back of the book. Very tight binding. Light beige paper, slightly darker around the edges (3/4"). A very little bit of edgewear, here-and-there, along the cover edges. A small 1/16" piece of the surface is missing by the upper spine, front cover. Two previous owners' names, in very small print, at the top of the first page and the top of the inside of the front cover. Pohl and Kornbluth are considered to be top notch authors.
