September, 1969. $.60 original price. 190 pages, plus book advertising at the back of the book. Very tight binding. Tan paper, a bit darker around the edges (about 3/4" to 1"). Orange colouring to the edging. A very faint line crease by the spine were the cover was opened and a similar faint crease down the middle of the spine. Very, very faint semi-circular mark at the middle of the top edge of the front cover and an extremely small (1/64") upward bend at the top, right corner, for about 8 pages. Love and adventure during the War of Independence in the 18th Century. Price: 11.75 USD

November, 1974. $1.50 original price. 336 pages, plus book advertising at the back of the book. Medium beige paper, slightly darker around the edges (1" at the top and bottom, 1/2" at the right side). Very tight copy. Light green colouring to the bottom and side edges, but faded at the top, due to age. Front Cover: A line crease beside the spine, where the book was opened, plus a few fingernail marks. A triangular crease at the upper right corner (Extending inward 1 1/4"). Spine: A line crease from book opening. Back Cover: A partial bend at the top, middle, plus a few fingernail marks. In General: A name is written at the top of the first page. A few pages have partial bends at the corner. Story: A man is consumed with a thirst for power to overcome what he sees as childhood slights. Price: 5.00 USD

A reprint of the Dell First edition. $1.75 original price. 542 pages, plus book advertising at the back of the book. Very tight binding. Green colouring to the edging. Front Cover: A triangular wrinkle/crease at the botttom, right corner, extending inward 3/4". A few minor surface scratches and indents at the spine side. Spine: Two wrinkle/crease straight lines where the book was opened. Back Cover: Triangular wrinkle/creases at both coners, extending inward 1/2". A few fingernail indents, here-and-there, but minor. In General: Water touched the bottom, right edge and side edge of the book (extending inward 3" at the bottom and 31/2" along the right edge, just about where the triangular wrinkle/crease exists). The paper is slightly rolled and there is a slight amount of light colour run at these points. The first page of the Introduction opens easily. This is Yerby's story about Judas.
