Fair, A.A. (Pseud. Of Gardner, Erle Stanley). You Can Die Laughing U.S. Pocket Books. 1961 Second Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good Plus Reading Copy. April, 1961. $.35 original price. 165 pages, plus one piece of book advertising on the very last page. Very tight bindng, except between pages 1-2. Medium beige paper. Red colouring to the edging. Front Cover: A partial, semi-circular 2 1/2" wrinkle/crease just below the middle, right edge of the cover, possibly from book opening. A width-wise, straight line crease, 1/4" from the bottom, probably from another book resting on top of this one. Spine: A 1/2" tear at the bottom, right, beside the cover. Back Cover: Light, width-wise ripple lines, as if cardboard had rested on it. In General: Water touched, mostly along the right side, leaving the book a little bit stiff to open. You can see the extent of the water from the first page, where a light beige outline of the edge is shown. There's a very gentle roll to the pages, but nothing much to worry about. The colour has migrated inward about 1/8" along the edges. The book actually came through this in quite good condition. Story: A suspected murder is reported. Price: 9.50 USD
