No specific date is mentioned, but the latest Copyright is for 1919, so this is probably the First Edition, U.S. Brownish binding with black print. 199 pages. Tight binding, but opens easily between pages 8-9. Front Cover: 3 bottle rings, a bit of wear along the spine edge (1/2"), and a bit of spotting. Spine: Slight edge wear along the left and right edges. Back Cover: Some water spotting. In General: Name, in pencil, on the first page. Water outline can be seen on some of the pages.Water extended inward 1", along the right edge. Story: Contains: Raffles story, The Red-Headed League and The Boscombe Valley Mystery. Fine Minus. $1.50 original price. 316 pages, plus book advertising at the back of the book. Medium beige paper, slightly darker around the edges (3/4"). Very tight binding. Front Cover: A wrinkle/crease, 1/4" from the spine, where the book was opened. Very small bits of edge wear around the edges, here-and-there. Spine: One wrinkle/crease line where the book was opened. Back Cover: A triangular crease at the upper left corner (1/8") , plus two 1/2" indents at the top edge, 2" from the left corner. Very minor bits of edge wear at the bottom edge, right.
