	1.	Dumas, Alexandre Two Dianas, The (Volume 2) U.S. P.F.Collier & Son. 1910 Hard Cover. Fair Reading Copy. Illustrated: By Various Artists. A volume from a set, The Romances of Alexandre Dumas.. 408 pages. Sea green cloth, with dull gold lettering and design on the spine. Contain:s many illustrations, in sepia (brownish), by very good artists. Light beige paper, but turning darker around the top edge (1/2").. In General: Opens easily at several spots where the Folio (a small number of bound pages) has separated from the stitching. At several spots a few of the pages are loose. The covers need to be reglued which will keep everything intact again. The front and back covers were water touched, which probably did the loosening. Water wrinkled cloth on the front cover and the back cover has patches of colour lightening, plus an area at the top, left (3" x 3"), where another (?)jacket stuck to it. There's a bit of ink run to various pages and the inside of the back cover, plus, there is some light tanning to spots on a few pages where water must have penetrated. A few illustrations have a small (1" x 1") portion of the surface damaged. There is ink run along the edging. Story: Madame de Poitiers and her daughter, Madame de Castro, are involved in the taking of Calais, the accidental death of Henry 11 and the First Religious Wars. Dumas is a good writer.
