New Imperialism, The, Harvey, David
1 Harvey, David New Imperialism, The
U.S. Oxford U. Press. 2005 0199278083 / 9780199278084 First U.S. Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good.
Original creamy white paper. 275 pages with Further Reading, a Bibliography, Notes and an Index. Tight binding.
Front Cover: Several small circles and other indents and scratches expressing the previous Owner's Abstract Artistic talents. Some light edge wear's at the bottom.
Spine: A couple of light creases from book opening plus a bit of wear at the bottom 2" and partially at the right edge.
Back Cover: Two booklength creases are at the middle from careless book opening which shows the former Owner has an interest in intellectual thought but ignorance in how to handle books.
In General: One of the small circles on the Cover made a mark for several inside pages but it's nothing much.
Story: Read the book. Am sorry but it irritates the hell out of me to think about so-called "Big Power" politics and what they do to ordinary people and causes so much suffering for them. Sorry. 004710

Cold War and the New Imperialism, The, Heller, Henry
2 Heller, Henry Cold War and the New Imperialism, The
Canada. Monthly Review Press. 2006 1583671390 / 9781583671399 First Monthly Review Press Ed. Mass Market Paperback. Fine Minus. Cover Photo: Corbis.
$22.95 is the original price. 366 pages plus a Bibliography and Index. White paper. Tight binding.
Front Cover: Some scribbling was done on a paper over the Cover and this led to marks on the Cover.
Spine: A line where the book was opened.
In General: The scribble marks enter the book for a few pages before disappearing and there are a couple of brown spots at the top edge and one " one at the top right edge. Nothing much, though.
Story: A rather straight forward telling of events. Not exactly a scintillating work but a typical Americanized simple biased version of events. Always read several books on the same Topic and published in countries other than the U.S. then piece them together and the Truth's somewhere there. Just a little word to the wise. 'Nuff said. 004717
