Story: This is a Peter Wimsey Novel set in a University atmosphere. Someone's sending Poison Pen letters about why women shouldn't be allowed to abandon their Husbands, etc. to try to obtain a Degree and enter the Work Force. Soon Wimsey's called in to help figure out who's writing these letters as things are beginning to become serious.
Women were just then beginning to try to assert themselves as "People" with Professions, etc. as we were then entering a new phase in Societal development. In my Province, for example, women had been considered as "Non People" until some Sufragettes demanded equality, and got it as we were the first Province in Canada to pass into Law that women were actually Human beings!!! Such arrogance on the part of Men. 004695
