February, 1966. $.75 is the original price. 238 pages which includes a Biographical page and some book Advertising. Light beige paper. Tight binding. Orange colour on the edges.
Front Cover: Handling marks and vertical creases. Wear's at the edges.
Spine: A light crease from book opening and wear at the edges.
Back Cover: A booklength crease from book opening's beside the Spine plus several others are at the bottom left corner. A few handling marks but not as much as on the Front Cover.
In General: Each Chapter has a simple drawing of some road signs which's an intersting feature. Original, anyway. A 1" x 3" watermark's at the bottom of a few pages at the beginning of the book and page twenty-five plus a few other pages have a couple of small indents at the top of the pages.
Story: The Author and friend travelled by Scooter across the U.S.. Not quite the same effect if it had been on bikes. Different strokes for different folks. 004702

In General: Minor wear's on the various edges. Nothing much. The first page's price clipped. The book was apparently dropped on it's top right edge and the pages have a double crease 1/8" and " - wide at that spot. The Back Cover, though, has creases continuing for about 2" wide.
Story: A Travelogue. Gushy. Gushy Prose. Still......... 004719

Spine: A few bumps but they're probably from when the book was maufactured.
In General: There's a " - wide bumped corner at the top right which was probably either bumped against something or dropped on that edge. This mark goes through the book. A light bend's at the bottom left for a few pages at the back of the book but it's nothing much.
Story: Fleming wanted to explore Brazil and also see if he could locate a missing person who disappeared in the interior of Brazil. Unfortunately he had to associate with a government person who was a bit of a Crook and Thief which complicated things for the Author. You'll find quite a few crooked government people in Latin America as I met my share of them. Pigs. It's an interesting book. 004697

In General: A Library Stamp's on the bottom edge and at the bottom of page 105. There's a Dewey Decimal Number and Library call Number at the bottom of the Title page and the Library Pocket and card are on the End Paper. The latter page's rippled from the glue which was used to paste down the Pocket.
Wrapper: A white strip's at the bottom edge with the Dewey Number.
Story: This is a history and Travelogue of Alberta, one of the fastest growing Canadian Provinces due to its oil wealth. 002056

In General: A map of the area mentioned by the Author's at the front of the book. A few of the pages at the beginning have small upturned corners.
Story: This is a Travelogue published originally in 1939. These early ones are interesting because they tell about a world that no longer exists today. Years and years from now books will be written describing our own quaint Customs and world which no longer exist. 004746
