It's Cheaper to Die, MIchelfelder, William
1 MIchelfelder, William It's Cheaper to Die
U.S. Monarch Books, Inc. #MB514. First Monarch Books Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good Plus.
September, 1961. $.35 is the original price. 141 pages plus book Advertising. Medium beige paper. Red colour on the edges.
Front Cover: Two faint creases are at the Spine side from book opening plus minor shelf wear's at the top and bottom edges.
Spine: A very faint crease's at the middle from book opening. I reglued a 1" tear at the bottom edge but it's nothing much.
Back Cover: Minor edge wear's at the top and bottom edges along with a couple of small scratches and indents.
Story: This is a book describing why drug prices are so high and the relationship Doctors have with Drug Companies. The book was written years ago but the information still applies and this has been going on since at least the 1300's when Chaucer first wrote a Satire about this kind of thing. Your Doctors and the Drug Companies have a cozy relationship which pays them very, very well while you, the Patient, scrapes by in life.
It's a pity that quite a few "Doctors" aren't in the Profession to help people but simply to feather their own nest. Doctors are supposed to work for the People, not just themselves. 004629
