Making a Nation, The U.S. And Its People, Boydston, Jeanne, et al.
1 Boydston, Jeanne, et al. Making a Nation, The U.S. And Its People
Pearson (Prentice Hall) 2004 13-111454-9. (?) First Combined Edition. Large Soft Cover (9" x 6"). About Fine.
768 pages with an Appendix, Bibliography. Photo Credits and an Index. A list of Maps are at the front of the volume. White glossy paper. Tight binding. Contains: A CD at the back of the book. It's a well put together book but how accurate it is I'm not certain as it's an American publication about America and it's always necessary to have other books about the same subject which are written in other countries to act as a comparison. Sorry, but this is how one does History as books tend to be biased, depending on the Authors. Go to University and you'll find this out for yourself. No flag thumpers, please. Note: It's a very heavy book and will require extra postage. As the saying goes, it's "weighty matter" to think about. 004839

April, 1966. $.60 is the original price. 276 pages containing maps and block prints of various aspects of life in the beginning of times in the old Rus' capital, an Index, a bit of Advertising and a very small Bibliography of the Author. Medium beige paper. Tight binding. Yellow on the edges.

Back Cover: A couple of fingernail indents and a few other small handling marks plus three or four small, soft indents at the Spine from the water. Very minor.
Story: I browsed a page at the beginning and , yes, Lamb is still a very good Author. He researches before he writes and this is, as usual, an entertaining and well-written book. You'd never get this copy if I didn't already have my own copy in my Library. Recommended. 004876
