$1.25 is the original price. 286 pages including Notes and some Advertising. Light medium beige paper. Tight binding. Contains: A two - page map at the front which outlines where the action takes place.
Front Cover: A few light scratches and handling marks. The top corner has a " creased corner and the bottom corner has a very, very small upturn. Nothing much.
Spine: A couple of creases from book opening and the usual fine marks from being lightly touched by water.
Back Cover: Some indents from holding the book plus a few small scratches. Again, nothing much.
Story: Flashman's latest Tales of adventure in his life. I remember the first time Flashman appeared in print in the old Life magazine and they went along with the idea that these were long-lost manuscripts recently found and were completely true, they thought. Never could figure out if they were going along with the joke or were serious about what they said. 004999
