Hope for the Troubled, Freeman, Lucy
1 Freeman, Lucy Hope for the Troubled
U.S. Cardinal (Pocket Books). #C-147. First Cardinal (Pocket Books) Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good.
August, 1954. $.35 is the original price. Tight binding. Medium beige paper, darker at the outer edges. 224 Pages with an Appendix, a list of national Organizations, Sources and a Bibliography, an Index and Advertisiing.
Front Cover: The usual crease by the Spine from book opening plus various indents and handling marks. Someone wrote their name under the Title but I erased it. The outine still shows.
Back Cover: The usual Spine crease, a few indents and a bit of scuffing from other books sliding on this one.
Story: Types of emotional disturbances. I browsed the book and it seems to be well written and offers good advice. These little books offer much better advice than some of the Quacks who appear on T.V. and pretend they are such caring individuals but who are just out to make a buck for themselves. Personally I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I was like that. 004489

Master of the Day of Judgment, The, Perutz, Leo
2 Perutz, Leo Master of the Day of Judgment, The
U.S. Collier Books. 1963 #AS 528V. First Collier Books Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Mint Minus.
$.95 is the original price. 158 pages plus an Afterword. Tight binding. White paper. Translator: Singer, Hedwig.
In General: The usual crease's beside the Spine from book opening and a 1" x " bit of the Cover's missing beside the top edge by the right corner.
Story: The Editor says that this book's a precursor to the Supernatural Psychological Suspense Detective type of Story. If so then it would be similar to Wakefield's book which was published by Arkham House many years ago but written with two different ideological outlooks on life. 004501
