No price's mentioned. Tight binding athough the book opens easiy at various places. It's a stitched binding. White paper. 301 pages which includes Study Material and questions to be answered about the Story as this is a book meant to be used in schools. Contains: Black and white interior illustrations similar to the Front Cover one.
Front Cover: Curled corners with some creasing and the Cover 's a bit dirty from handling.
Spine: A " piece's missing at the top edge and the bottom will have to be reglued.
Back Cover: Creased corners, creases at the top and bottom edges and beside the Spine side.
In General: Various pages have small creased corners which I'll straighten. The first eighty pages have a few underlined words and some written remarks are at the margins. The first page has a School Library Sign Out pasted along with names.
Story: A Roman infantry Legion has disappeared and so has its Eagle. Our Roman Hero was a Centurian Commander of a Cohort but after being seriously wounded is sent back to recover. He knows the Story of the missing Eagle of the Ninth and makes up his mind to recover it, especialy as his Father had been in charge at the time. This book was made into a very good movie I watched a couple of years ago and I recommend it and this book. 004451
