Sultan's Warrior, The, Baldwin, Bates
1 Baldwin, Bates Sultan's Warrior, The
U.S. Popular Library #SP134. First Popular Library Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Fair to Good.
December, 1961. $.50 is the original price. 238 pages plus some book Advertising. Light medium beige paper. Tight binding. Green colour on the edges.
Front Cover: Handling marks, creased corners and I repaired a 1" tear at the top of the Spine side.
Spine: Some wear's at the edges and a " piece's missing at the bottom of the Spine.
Back Cover: A couple of creases and handling marks.
In General: A 1" tear's at the top of page nineteen, a few initials in ink are on the inside of the Front Cover and at the top of the first page. Page 177 has a folded corner as a bookmark and the mark continues for a few pages on either side along with a " tear at the Spine side on the Advertising page. 1/8" upturns are at the top right corner for a few pages before ending. The book's been handled but these various marks are so so.

Twelfth Physician, The, Gibbs, Willa
2 Gibbs, Willa Twelfth Physician, The
U.S. Ace Book, Inc. 1954 #K-143. First Ace Books Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good Minus.
$.50 is the original price. Medium beige paper. Tight binding. 271 pages plus some Advertising. Yellow colour on the edges.
Front Cover: Several creases, handling marks and fingernail indents from handling the book.
Spine: A couple of bumps on the left and right edges so possibly not bound tightly.
Back Cover: A couple of booklength creases and two other 3" ones which are probably due to careless book opening. Some pages at the beginning of the book are darker than the rest of the book so possibly some water touched here.
In General: A previous Owner wrote very small initials at the top right of the first page. Nothing much, though.
Story: Hmm. The Plot sounds familiar, somehow. French Revolutionary Time, Innocent Doctor betrayed and exiled to a Penal Colony. Revenge. Love. Note" Everyone keeps listing the book as a "1961" but my copy says only "1954". So? 004760

Tree of Liberty, The, Page, Elizabeth
3 Page, Elizabeth Tree of Liberty, The
U.S. Popular Library Eagle Book. 1939 #125-44. Possible (Probably) First Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Fine.
$1.25 is the original price. 863 pages which includes several pages of Ackowlegements. Light medium beige paper. Red colour on the edges with a date stamped on the top edge. Tight binding which is good, considering this is such a thick book.
Front Cover: Two light 1" slanted creases from book opening are at the bottom of the right edge and a slightly creased bottom corner. Nothing much.
Spine: Several creases from opening the book because this is such a thick volume. A couple of the creases are probably from manufacturing.
Back Cover: Three faint scratches which are beside the middle of the left edge. Nothing much.
Story: An Historical Novel of Eighteenth Century American Frontier days. Note: This is a heavy, thick book which probably requires some extra postage. We'll decide what to do when the time comes to ship. 004650

Voyagers, The, van Every, Dale
4 van Every, Dale Voyagers, The
Canada. Bantam Books. #F1988. First Bantam Books Edition. Mass Market Paperback. About Very Good. So so Spine.
July, 1959. $.50 is the original price. 314 pages. Mostly a tight binding but opens easily between pages 214 and 215. I put some glue on the Spine as the Cover was a bit loose and this tightened up the pages a bit. This is a pocket book and they're not bound and glued together as well as Hard Cover books so always handle them as such. Light medium beige paper, darker at the edges.
Front Cover: A 3" indent's at the right side at the bottom of the Cover and the same's at the top right corner and it continues for 1". A mark's at the middle of the book's Cover where it might have been partially bent when a previous Owner was opening it.
Spine: Four lines from book opening. Some wear's at the left and right edges.
Back Cover: A few indents are at two corners and elsewhere on the Cover.
Story: The usual adventures in Frontier America. 004383
