Mingo Dabney, Street, James
2 Street, James Mingo Dabney
U.S. Pocket Books, Inc. #819. First Pocket Book Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good Minus.
August, 1951. No price's mentioned although it's somewhere about $.25 I should imagine. 341 pages plus Advertising. Light beige paper. Tight binding. Red colour on the edges.
Front Cover: Various creases here-and-there and the Scotch taping's on the Spine's edge. I'm surprised it's still sticking and hasn't fallen off. The two corners are so so.
Spine: Scotch taped as it's torn for 2" at the bottom and there are two torn areas at the top.
Back Cover: A booklength crease's at the middle of the Cover and Scotch taping holds the Cover down.
In General: Page twenty-one had a little issue with the printing machine and is sort of scrunched at the top third. The mark from it continues for several pages after.
Story: Looks like the sort of Story Tyrone Power would do. Who? you ask. Cuba, under Spanish Rule and our book Hero fights for the Cuban people's Cause and, of course, for the beautiful Seorita who's probably a high bred Castilian, or some such. But Seor. Why do you wear the mask? Y mi amor. Mi Padre looks so unhappy. Por que. 004829
