Ra Expeditions, The, Heyerdahl, Thor
1 Heyerdahl, Thor Ra Expeditions, The
U.S. Signet (NAL) Book. #451-J5121. First Signet (NAL) Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good Plus.
August, 1971. $1.95 is the original price. 365 pages plus Advertsing. Tight binding. Light beige paper with a darker beige at the edges. Contains: Quite a few colour photos which were taken during the sea voyage on the raft. There's also a two - page drawing of their route and a one - page illustration showing how they expected the raft to look when completed.
Story: From observing Hyroglyphs the ancient Egyptians had carved Thor believed that they had been able to build boats which had been capable of reaching North America. The "experts" said he was crazy but he proved that they were wrong. Good for him as my dead Aunt would say. I get tired of these supposed "experts" as they can't see beyond their noses. What limited intelligence they actually sometimes seem to have despite their fancy Degrees. 004345
