In General: There's a " - wide bumped corner at the top right which was probably either bumped against something or dropped on that edge. This mark goes through the book. A light bend's at the bottom left for a few pages at the back of the book but it's nothing much.
Story: Fleming wanted to explore Brazil and also see if he could locate a missing person who disappeared in the interior of Brazil. Unfortunately he had to associate with a government person who was a bit of a Crook and Thief which complicated things for the Author. You'll find quite a few crooked government people in Latin America as I met my share of them. Pigs. It's an interesting book. 004697

Story: The Back Cover illustrates the contents of the Story in a series of pictographs which I thought were rather a neat idea. The Front Cover shows what waits for our Story Characters. 004609

The original blue colour on the top edge's in so so condition.Contains: Five black and white illustrations but the Frontispiece one's missing. 384 pages. Light beige thick paper. Tight binding.
Front Cover: A " of wear's at the bottom right corner but the rest of the Cover's in very nice conditon.
Spine: Four small tears and a small bit of wear are at the bottom edge. The top edge has wear and a " portion's torn but everything's still there.
Back Cover: 2" of wear's at the left bottom edge and about 1" of wear's at the Spine side edge. A couple of minor marks are at the top left corner and some wear's at the Spine's edge. All are rather minor.
In General: Some pages have small dried water stain marks but they aren't many and are reasonably small in size.
Story: An adventure which takes place in Tibet between the usual Nasty types and young people who have to fight them off. But nothing defeats The British Empire as long as the kids keep a stiff upper lip and have plucky determination, eh, what? And by Jove! 004674
