Beige cloth Covers with red print at the bottom of the Front Cover and Spine. The only stated Copyright date is 1958. $2.95 is the original price. 151 pages. Very tight binding. Original colour paper.
Front Cover: There's a small puffy patch from water at the top left (2" x 3").
Back Cover: Water touched leaving slightly puffy cloth at the upper third and in a semi-curved circle at the bottom third.
In General: The book has a slight tilt to the left for the bottom half. The first and last 3 pages at the front and back of the book have a sort of oval raised ripple due to water. The inside of the Back Cover is slightly rippled around the top of the right side and at the bottom edge (¾").
Wrapper: A few finger smudges of black/pink ink bleed at the bottom half of the left corner. The front of the Wrapper has some pink ink bleed at the top and bottom third. Page 123 has the upper right corner folded as a book mark.
Story: Tom Strawn meets an Angel and is given the power to work miracles. 000721

U.S. #169. $.50 is the original price. 287 pages. Tight binding, but opens easily between pages 108-109. Light beige paper, slightly darker at the edges (1/2").
Front Cover: Several small places where the Cover surface lifted due to another book lightly sticking to this one. (See: Scan).
Spine: A wrinkle/crease from book opening. A bit of light edge wear is at the top and bottom edges, plus there's a 1/2" tear at the top.
Back Cover: A triangular, lightly creased corner at the top, left (extending inward about 1/2"). Some edge wear at the edges. The Cover surface is a bit rough - feeling due to water. The right edges are softly rolled (extending inward 1/2") and there are a few water channels from the Spine outward (extending about 3").
In General: From page 273, to the end of the book there's some light grey ink bleed which, rather interestingly, soon turns into a Dixie flag.
Story: An historical novel about the U.S. Civil War, originally written in 1904. 001512
