In General: A name stamp from a previous school is stamped onto the bottom of the first page and the first 3-4 pages have a small, 1" indent at the right edge, bottom. Contains: A list of spelling words used in the body of the book, an extra spelling listing to challenge those who wish to try, and a list of commonly misspelled words.
Story: A Spelling text book for Grade 5's, with Canadian vocabulary spellings, rather than U.S. I rather like this little book in that it's attractively put together and features various interesting activities and little stories, as well as rhymes, in order to memorize certain spelling groupings. But, then, I'm looking at it from an adult pespective.The cover is rather charming in that it features, on the Front Cover, 3 kids looking at a book, while, on the Back Cover, it shows the same three kids, but from the back. A little touch, but an interesting concept. 002148
