U.S. #553 - (T) 08445. September, 1974. $1.50 is the original price. 222 pages, plus a Bibliography, an Index, some book advertising and a very brief Biography of the Author, all at the back of the book. Tight binding, but opens easily between pages 26-27 and 76-77. Light medium beige paper, slightly darker (1") around the edges (for some pages). Contains: 16 pages of black-and-white photos and a map of the area.
Front Cover: Several large wrinkle/crease lines. A previous Owner did a bit of "art" work with a ballpoint on three letters in the Title.
Spine: A couple of crease lines from book opening.
Back Cover: A widthwise indent, possibly (?) from another book pressing at an angle on this one. There are some light grey ink bleed spots and a bit of missing Cover surface at the bottom edge (1/2" high x 2" wide).
In General: The insides of both Covers, plus the first and last pages have some ink bleed. Also the photos and some of the pages (some, not all) have ink bleed. Page 61-62 has a 3/4" circular piece missing from the right edge, middle. Pages 211+ have a widthwise fold/crease at the bottom third of the page. A name and School room number are printed on the back of the top third, inside the Front Cover.
Story: An accounting of some of the disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle. (Aside: When one flies over this area the clouds look "strange", what with the unusual cloud patterns. I think, as do many others, that there's an inter-spatial rift into which people/planes/ships sometimes slip into. Of course, once on the other side orientation is quite different so one loses direction and can't find a way back to the opening. Ours is a very strange world, with a lot of things still unexplained. Note that there are several similar places on Earth which exhibit the same characteristics.) 001521

Original light beige paper, slightly darker at the edges (1" at the top, 1/4" at the right edge and 1" at the bottom). Very tight binding. Contains: Several maps of the area in question plus numerous black-and-white photos.
Front Cover: 3-4 light fingernail indents, here-and-there, and a couple of small, light scratches. The top, right corner has a would-be triangular bend (extending inward 1/2") but it's not a true crease. There's also a light meandering wrinkle/crease from book opening.
Back Cover: A vertical manufacturing mark.
Story: Some mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle are mentioned. When flying through the area the clouds certainly look weird. 001641
