Spine: 3 fine wrinkle/crease lines, down the middle, from book opening, plus a 1/4" tear at the bottom edge.
Back Cover: One very small fingernail indent, at the top of the cover.

In General: A 1/4" bend is at the top, right corner of the Front Cover, with a 1/16" piece of the Cover surface worn away. A fingernail indent is at the middle of the Cover and there's some very slight edge wear (1 1/4" long) at the bottom, right edge. There's a small date stamp on the top edge which was placed by the store to indicate when the book arrived.
Story: A crisis for the U.K. which is precipitated when the U.K. sells arms to Israel and the Arabs decide to retaliate by withdrawing their money from the U.K., bankrupting the country. An exodus of British people to Canada leads Quebec to threaten to separate if it happens. 001023

Front Cover: A very faint bend from book opening is at the Spine side.
Spine: Some wrinkle/crease lines and two very fine, white creases from book opening.
Back Cover: A triangular wrinkle/crease (extending inward 2 3/4") is at the top, left corner. A smaller (2") faint wrinkle/crease runs horizontally to this one. There's also one small fingernail indent from book opening.
In General: There's a very slight rightward lean. A news article which relates to this book's story is pasted to the back of the Front Cover.
Story: The U.S., being in need of oil, decides to take over Canada. 001378
