May, 1951. $.50 is the original price. 371 pages plus book advertising. Medium beige paper, turning slightly darker. A bit loose.
Front Cover: Two large triangular creases at the corner and bottom of the book.
Spine: Torn at the top and bottom (¼" and 1").
Back Cover: Two small triangular creases plus a slight bit of wear.
In General: Two pieces of masking tape hold down to the Cover the first page and a folio. Something indented the first 40 pages about 2/3 of the way up and the pages are wrinkle/indented because of it. From about page 140, to around page 224, the lower right bottom edge is upturned about ¼". A name and two cutesy sayings are written in ink on the first page.
Story: An older husband, his young wife and a young Stud iwho's interested in her. But, of course! 000382

February, 1967. $.95 is the original price. 351 pages, plus a page of book advertising at the back of the book. Tight binding. Light beige paper.
Front Cover: A small, 1/2' x 1/16" wide indent is in the middle of the Cover, plus there's some edge wear at the edges.
Spine: Split, but I reglued it and it's tight again.
Back Cover: Another book stuck to this one. I removed most of it but the rest, while probably able to be removed, will take time and patience, but, unfortunately, I can only spend so much time per book, before having to move along.
In General: The pages and insides of the Covers have about a 1/2" of light pink colour bleed at the edges. Pages 179 - 188 have a bit of browning at the Spine side, top 3", probably from where water dried. There are some small indents at the right page edge, from water (1/4" deep). plus 1, in the middle (1 1/2" deep x 1/2" wide). They're a bit bigger as one goes toward the back of the book.

U.S. Popular Library. 1949 #M2079. First Popular Library Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good. Water Touched.
No date is mentioned but the last stated Copyright date is 1949. $.60 is the original price. 340 pages plus an End Paper with advertising. Beige paper, very slightly darker around the edges. Red colour on the edges with the bottom, right side having a ¾" colour loss. Colour surrounds it. Strange little mark. Tight binding.
Front Cover: 3-4 wrinkle/creases, mostly due to careless book opening. A small tear at the bottom by the Spine.
Back Cover: Two wrinkle/creases at the bottom left side. One is about 1" upward, the other is about 2" upward. There are about 10 small (1/8") marks on the upper part of the Cover, made as if by the tip of a fingernail. There's a slight lean to the right. A triangular water stain is at the bottom (about ½" - 2" in size) moving towards the right edge.
In General: There's a slight change in paper texture due to this water. It's not wrinkled but the paper looks different. 3-4 pages have a small (¼") crease, either at the bottom, or at the top right corner. The Covers are a bit beigey in appearance as I suspect they were once white.
Story: The usual thing about temptation, power hunger, lust, etc. 000314
