U.K. #A10. February, 1938. 6 Pence is the original price. 192 pages, which also includes an Index at the back of the book. Tight binding. Most of the paper is light beige with some other paper stock pages having a slight darkening at the top and right edges (1").
Book: Contains: Various schematics which illustrate parts of the book plus a black-and-white photo of some Galaxies.
Wrapper: An irregularly-shaped piece is missing at the bottom of the back portion and this extends to a small piece at the Spine side, Front Cover (3/4" high x 2 1/2" long, roughly). A couple of small (1/8") pieces are missing at the top, close to the Spine. There's a light bit of wear at the flap folds and one can see a beigey watermark outline on the inside, back portion of the Wrap and back flap, which obviously bore most of the brunt of whatever water touched this book.
Story: This book is a Revision of a Lecture which was given at the University of Cambridge, 1930. 001527

Front Cover: Some edge wear around the edges.
Spine: A 3/4" piece of Cover surface is missing at the bottom edge. Tears at the top (1/8") and bottom (1/2").
Back Cover: A bit of light edge wear is at the bottom edge, Spine side (2").
In General: There's a page indent at the middle, top edge (extending inward 1/4" x 3/4"), which gradually becomes smaller as one goes toward the back of the book. (Probably, from a slight drop.) There's a very small bit of pencil outlining, but it's not much.
Story: Astronomy's workings, as explained in "simple" terms. Anyway, it's a good, basic book. 002458
