U.S. $3.00 is the original price. 241 pages. Almost original white coloured paper, but beginning to turn slightly darker at the edges.
Wrapper: Has ink run on the inside from the binding. It's torn at the lower left where the Spine joins to the the Front Cover (3") and there's a 2" x 1" - wide tear on the upper right, at the back of the Wrapper. There's some bleeding to the surface of the Upatel Cover design.
In General: The black binding is puckered from water. End Papers are slightly darkened due to runny ink as are various portions of the edging. Because of water this is a Reading Copy only. But it's also a very scarce book as it's a limited edition run and was issued by one of the top book Publishers for this Genre. With time even this copy will go up in value. Hodgson is a scarce, good Author.
Story: A collection of his ghost hunter stories and they are, indeed, quite creepy to read, at times. Especially the story with the Pigs from Hell. Always remembered that one for the atmosphere Hodgson created. 000384
