Smenon, Georges Snow Was Black, The (Orig: La Neige Était Sale) Canada/U.S. Signet (NAL) Book. 1965 #P2700. Third Signet (NAL) Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good. Water Touched. Translator: Varèse, Louise. Front Cover: A faint, semi-circular ring is at the bottom third of the Cover plus there are a couple of smallish fingernail indents. A few small puckers from water are at the Spine side. The bottom and right edges have a very small bit of rubbing/wear, but it's nothing much. There are two very small (1/8" - wide x ¼" - long) pieces of Cover surface missing from a (?) sticker that's no longer there. Spine: Some small wrinkling indicating water touched the edge. Back Cover: The same bit of puckering I mentioned for the Front Cover. Story: A jerk who gets his kicks by sticking a knife into people and killing them. 001982 Price:
