Canada. #0-671-83575-0. October, 1980. $2.25 is the original price. 176 pages. Very tight binding, but opens easily at page 175. Medium beige paper, slightly darker at the edges (1 1/4" at the top, 1/2" at the right edge, 1" at the bottom). Depending on the paper stock which was used some of the pages are a very light beige.
Front Cover: A very fine white line crease from book opening is beside the Spine. Some very light edge wear, here-and-there, but mostly at the top and bottom edges. There's a faint (1/16" wide x 1") bend at the top third of the right edge.
Spine: Light edge wear at the top and bottom edges.
Back Cover: Some very light edge wear (1" ) at the left and right sides of the bottom edge and for 2" at the left edge, about the middle. A 3" long scuff mark and a fingernail indent are beside the left edge, middle. A 1/2" faint wrinkle/crease mark is beside the Spine and 2 small (1/8") marks are beside the left edge, bottom.
Story: Be careful who you meet, especially if it appears that they don't belong in this world. 001295

In General: Some pages at the back of the book have a slight indent from the triangular crease mentioned as being on the Back Cover.

The rest is either faded away or was never there. Not quite a perfect cut to one Folio of pages (which shows at the top and bottom edges). Cover Art: Jones, Jeff.
Front Cover: Very light bits of edge wear on the right and bottom edges, here-and-there. A small bit (1 1/2") of edge wear is at the Spine side, middle, and there's a very slightly heavier bit (1/4") at the bottom edge, Spine side.
Spine: Light edge wear at the top and bottom edges.
Back Cover: Very light bits of edge wear at the top and bottom edges, here-and-there, but mostly at the bottom. A faint, partial triangular indent is at the bottom, left corner, but it's an impression and not a true crease.

Front C over: There's a 2" wrinkle/crease at the bottom edge and a line indent at the top edge from another book pressing on this one. Another Cover stuck to this one which I mostly removed. What's left was too difficult to remove without starting to also remove pieces of Cover with it, so I left it.
Spine: A couple of wrinkle/creases from book opening, plus edge wear and light puckering from water.
Back Cover: The usual line crease from book opening plus edge wear on all edges except the left.
In General: The book's stiff to open as water touched the interior and left the usual pan-shaped indent which causes stiffness. (I find that if the book is gently, but firmly bent back and forth several times it removes most of these water-caused indents and makes the book a bit flexible again. Pages 115-136 is about where water dried, leaving a dark 1" frame around the pages. This gradually disappears the farther away one gets from it, although the slight darkness is still there.
Story: This book relates how Fafhrd and The Gray Mouser first met. 003151
