Front Cover: Wrinkle/creases, corner creases, handling marks. Oddly, there's only a small bit of edge wear at the bottom, right edge.
Spine: Several wrinkle/creases from book opening plus edge wear but mostly at the bottom, left and top edge.
Back Cover: a 1" curved crease at the left edge and two small marks at the top edge. There's also a small bit of edge wear at the bottom edge.
In General: The Library pocket and two Library stamps are on the inside of the Front Cover and next two pages. A water mark starts at the top left corner of the first page (3" x 2") and disappears by page 16, becoming smaller with each page. Lastly, the Library name and "Discard" are stamped on the right edge. The book has a slight lean to the right.
Story: Quantum Physics has shattered the boundaries protecting alternate Time streams and these are all colliding. An invading army is trying to conquer them all. It's a good premise. 003727

June. 1970. $.95 is the original price. 213 pages, plus book advertising at the back of the book. Reasonably tight binding, but there's a tendency to being brittle at the spine. Darker beige paper.
Front Cover: A light, double wrinkle/creased corner at the bottom, right (extending inward 1/2" and 1"). Some light edge wear, mostly at the left, and bottom edges.
Spine: 3 deep creases at the middle, from book opening, plus some water rippling.
Back Cover: 3-4 fingernail indents at the middle, from book opening, plus some light scuffs and mild, light grey ink bleed at the top third of the cover.
In General: A bit of blue colour bleed at the bottom edge. There's an old Book Store stamp at the top of the first page and some of the pages at the front, and back of the book, have pencil notations. If you have the time, they can be erased. Pages 89-95 have brownish water stains and page 93-94 has a 1/4" creased, bent corner at the top, right. The book's been read, although not too heavily. Front Cover: Creased corners (extending inward 1" at the top and 1¼" at the bottom). A 4" vertical crease is beside the Spine and two other smaller ones are further in. There are also couple of soft rolls. The Cover's been handled.
Spine: A couple of tears but I reinforced and reglued it so the book's quite tight again.
Back Cover: A half dozen light vertical creases and other handling marks.
In General: The pages have a couple of vertical soft rolls from water and also some of the edging colour which was washed away. It's very light but over most of the page). Pages 112-113 appear to be where water dried as these pages have ¼" - wide vertical water lines. This mostly disappears by pages 109 - 114.
A few check marks and circles are on some of the stories and a few pages at the beginning and end of the book have corner indents from their respective Covers. Not much, though. A previous Owner wrote his name at the top of the inside Front Cover.
Story: 16 short sf. stories from the old Super Science, Galaxy, Star, etc., magazines. A lot of unknown (to me) Writers but Pohl is usually good in what he chooses. 003543

Back Cover: A little bit of edge wear is at the top and bottom. The top and bottom edges also have two small spots where a string, or something similar tied them into a bundle (I think) as this is how pocket books once were delivered.
In General: Some nearly-invisible mottling spots are on both Covers but they're not too visible.
Story: As the Title says. A Lawyer battles Corporate interests legally and physically. 000462

Back Cover: An 1/8" tear is at the left edge, middle, and there's a small, light 1" crease extending from it. The bottom, left has a small (1/8") upturned corner. The first few pages also have a small, upturned corner (1/4" high x 2" long). The first page looks a bit dirty and the last page has a 1/2" tear at the left edge, middle. The inside of the Back Cover is dark beigey.
Story: The power of advertising. When I first read this story many years ago in Galaxy I was intrigued by the idea of having advertisng pop up in the air in front of you and now it's almost here. 003194

There's a slight bit of edge wear along the edges.
