$1.25 iis the original price. Although the first Copyright was 1965 this edition has "1969" at the top of the page. 157 pages plus book advertising. Tight binding. Purple colour on the edges.
Front Cover: Small white spots are on the surface where another book was stuck. When removed it took very small bits of the Cover with it.
Spine: A wrinkle/crease from book opening plus a small bit of edge wear at the top and bottom edges.
Back Cover: Another book stuck here and about ¾ of the Cover's surface lifted from it.
In General: Water touched the coloured edges but there's no colour bleed. A soft roll is at the outer edge of the right side of the book (1½"). A name and date are written in ball point at the top of the first page.
Story: De Sade's ideas as to pleasure. I browsed the book and it's rather tame compared to some of the stuff one now sees on T.V., at least in Canada, where there doesn't seem to be much left to the imagination. 000943

1953 is the last stated Copyright date. $.75 is the original price. 288 pages. Medium beige paper. Tight binding. The bottom edge still has its original green colour.
Front Cover: Another book stuck to this one and ¾ of the bottom half of the Cover's surface is missing. There are also spots of ink bleed on the top half and along the top edge inside the Cover.
Spine: Three line creases from book opening. There are some small ink bleed spots at the upper half. The Spine's beigey as the glue shows through.
Back Cover: Some ink bleed spots are on the top ¾ of the Cover and at the top ½ inside the Cover.
In General: Ink bleed spots are on the top and right edges. The first 3 pages at the front and the last 9 pages at the back have spots of ink bleed around the top edge.
Story: A selection taken from de Sade's writings, 1782 to 1802. Twisted logic. But as he once said: On which side of the bars is the normal person? (We have the term, Sadism, from this person). His ideas of "fun" were slightly different, so to say. 000843
