      U.K. #23117. June, 1975. 35 Pence is the original price. 128 pages. Very tight binding. Medium beige paper, slightly darker at the edges (1" at the top, 1/2" at the right side and 2" at the bottom edge).
Front Cover: 3 small, light bits of edge wear are at the bottom and left edge, plus there's a small (1/4") indent at the bottom, right corner.
Spine: A few bits of very light edge wear at the edges, here-and-there.
Back Cover: A few very small bits of edge wear along the edges.
Story: Brotan is a Roman Slave breeder, providing children who'll grow up to be Slaves for the Romans. 001283

Front Cover: A slight dulling at the top where water touched (about 1/4" inward, slightly more in spots).
Back Cover: Water touched along the edges (extending inward, around 2").
In General: There's some torquoise colour bleed at the top of the pages (1/4", inward). A slight bit of pinkish colour is around the edges of the inside of both Covers, and down the Spine side (1/8"+). The Wrapper has most of this pinkish colour on its Back Cover and flap.
Story: This is the fourth in the Hornblower series. Napoleon is in retreat from Russia, heading back to France. 000718
