U.S. E.P. Dutton & Co. 1937 First E.P. Dutton & Co., Inc. Edition. Hard Cover. Fine Minus. Water Touched. Ex-Library Book Contains: A black-and-white photo of the Himilayan mountain area in which Brunton lived. (printed on the page).
Front Cover: A triangular area at the top, right corner, has been touched by water (extending inward 1¼").
Spine: There's a 1/8"+ indent at the top, right side of the Spine and two very small bits of greyish-white colour at the left side, across from it.
Back Cover: A ¼" bump at the bottom edge, middle.
In General: The inside of the Front Cover has the usual white page for Library date stamp signouts while the opposite page has a pasted down clipping from the Wrapper.The inside of the Back Cover has a 1" - long x ½" - deep smudge at the top edge, middle.
Story: Brunton wrote many books about finding one's inner self through contemplation and Mysticism. He's one of the basic Authors if you're interested in this subject. 001950

10 Shillings, 6 Pence is the original price. Light grey boards, with purple print on the Spine. Very tight binding. Original creamy-white paper. 143 pages.
In General: A triangular area of light rolling is at the bottom third of the Frontispiece and first page. There's a 1/2" of rolling at the Spine side, at the back of the book. The same, for the inside of the front of the book, at the Spine side, but it's much, much less.
Wrapper: The bottom 2/3rds have a bit of rolling, from water. The back of the Wrapper has some colour bleed along the outer edges and 3 fingerprints/marks.
Story: Arunachala is the Hill of Light, in southern India, and is considered to be older than the Himalayas. Dr. Brunton is a noted authority on soul-consciousness and enlightenment. I recommend his books. 002162
