U.S. #445-00172. $1.25 is the original price. 360 Pages. Very tight binding. Light beige paper (original colour). Green colour on the edging. Contains: Many black-and-white photos of various Opera personalities. These photos are printed on the pages rather than having them as inserts.
Front Cover: A wrinkle/crease from book opening is beside the Spine. (Because of the way the Cover was manufactured the crease mark is larger at the bottom than at the top). Both the upper and lower corners have 1/8" upturns, but it's nothing much.
Spine: 3-4 fine wrinkle/crease lines from book opening.
Back Cover: A faint (1" long x 1/8"- wide) line is at the top, left corner, probably from another book pressing on this one, but again, it's nothing much.
In General: A few so-so light spots to the top and bottom edges.
Story: Bing's memories are recalled in this Memoir. It's nicely put together. 001357

Grey cloth Covers with wine print. $4.50 is the original price. 257 pages. Original colour paper with just a hint of darker edges.
In General: The Mylar - covered Wrapper is pasted by the flaps to the inside Covers. There's a Library pocket on the last page and a number is stamped on the first page. The paper's slightly roughened where water touched the right corner at the bottom of the book and in the middle (for about 1", inward). The balance is at the bottom (extending inward ½".) Outside of this, plus 3-4 pages where there's a small (1/8" x ½") spot of red colour at the Spine page edges everything else is O.K.
The pages have a rough-cut right edge. The book opens easily at page 193.
Story: An object lands on Earth and explodes. After concluding that it's from the Future it's accidentally sent back in time, then returns later, destroying a town in France. So...... 000686

Front Cover: A 1¼" curved crease is at the middle of the bottom edge and there's the usual Spine side crease from book opening. Some small bits of Cover surface are missing at the middle of the right side where another book lightly stuck to this one. A couple of ¼" vertical indents are at the Spine side and there's a straight vertical indent at the Spine side (¼" wide) where another book pressed against this one.
Spine: Four winkle/creases from book opening plus thee's a small (1/8") piece of Cover surface missing at the top.
Back Cover: Some small bits of Cover surface are missing at the middle of the Spine side (about ¼" wide x 1" long, and smaller) and a few indents are at the same place.
In General: The usual soft rolls/indents are at the right page edges (extending inward ¼"). One page has a folded corner as a bookmark and the imprint from it has continued for a couple of pages.

Wrapper: Has some blue ink on the inside which transferred to it from the book but the outside is still in Good condition. The bottom, right corner of the flap has a bit of light pinkish colour bleed on it.
Front Cover: Slight bit of rippling at the Spine side.
Spine: Some of the colour is missing at the top and bottom 2" but the original Title is as new.
Back Cover: Some rippling at the bottom edge (extending inward 2") and along the Spine side. 3-4 greyish spots and a small water outline are at the right edge, and top, right edge.
In General: A Library pocket is pasted to the first page and there are a couple of very light pinkish bits of colour bleed but it's rather minor. There's a small bit of black ink bleed where the Library Call Number is stamped. The inside of the Back Cover has a slight bit of black ink bleed from the top of the black binding and one can make out a large "number 3" shape where water touched the middle of the book.This runs into the book but it's not very noticeable.
Pages 66-84, plus a few pages at the back of the book have a water outline at the top edges, Spine-side, but this gradually disappears. There's also the odd page which has a very small bit of light ink bleed. Lastly, the usual Library number stamped on the top edge is smudged.
