Canada/U.S. #345-28420-7. $2.75 is the original price. 303 pages plus a Biography of the Author. Tight binding but opens easily between pages 132-133. Light beige paper, slightly darker at the edges (1"). Cover Art: Whelan, Michael. Contains: A two-page map where the action takes place.
Front Cover: A 2" curved wrinkle/crease from book opening and a 5" slanted crease. Edge wear and creased corners. The Cover looks a bit scuffed.
Spine: A couple of wrinkle/creases from book opening plus edge wear at the four edges.
Back Cover: Scuffed and two corner creases are at the top, left (extending inward 1").
In General: The first 4 pages have a ¼" creased corner at the bottom, right, and the mark has continued for a few more pages after this. Slight upturns at both corners, but nothing much. The Author tries to flesh out the story by providing a list of characters, types of activities, relationships and some vocabulary used in the book.

U.S. March, 1977. $1.50 is the original price. 252 pages plus book advertising. Tight binding. Medium beige paper but slightly darker beige at the edges. Cover Art: The Brothers Hildebrandt.
Front Cover: A curved crease is at the bottom edge, middle (2" long) and there's the usual crease from book opening at the Spine. Edge wear around the edges but mostly at the left and bottom edge plus half-way up the right edge.
Spine: A crease from book opening plus edge wear at the four edges. A 1" tear is at the bottom, left edge.
Back Cover: An 1/8" piece of Cover surface is missing at the bottom, left corner and there's a triangular crease at the same corner (extending inward 1"). The bottom, right edge has a 1" tear and crease which cintinues into the last page at the same spot. Various light creases/handling marks plus edge wear at three edges.
In General: Opens easily between pages 160-161 and 166-167. An old Bookstore stamp is on the inside of the Front Cover The first page has a piece missing at the top, right corner (extending inward ¾").
Story: A woman finds herself in an alien body on an alien world. 003417

Front Cover: A slanted line runs widthwise across the top of the Cover but only the last 1" is an actual crease. There's also the usual wrinkle/crease at the Spine from book opening and a 1/4" wrinkle/creased corner at the top, right.
In General: The top, right corner (to about page 20) has a slight indent and the second page has a very small (1/32" x 1/2" - long) crease at the right edge, middle.

Canada. Ballantine Books, Inc. #345-23417-0. Mass Market Paperback. Poor/Fair. Water Touched. August, 1973. $1.25 is the original price. 243 pages, plus some book advertising at the back of the book. Original light beige paper. Reasonably tight binding, but opens easily between pages 88-89.
In General: The Front and Back Covers are missing but I made new Covers to take their place. The Spine has three line creases, from book opening, and there are two spots (top and bottom) where a small piece of cover surface is missing. There are a few light brownish sports at the top edges of pages 88-89, as well as on the last two pages at the back of the book, and what's left of the Front Cover. There's a bare minimum of paper roll at the right edge (to about 1/2", inward), but the paper looks somewhat coarse, as water has changed the paper fibre.

Canada/U.S. $2.75 is the original price. Reasonably tight binding. Original light beige paper. 469 pages which includes 19 pages describing the terminology, characters and chronology of the story. The last page is a brief Biography of the Author. Cover Art: Whelan, Michael. Contains: A two-page map where the action takes place.
Spine: A wrinkle/crease from book opening plus a very small bit of edge wear at the top and bottom edges.
Back Cover: A fingernail indent and a 2" vertical wrinkle/crease are at the middle of the Cover. There's a 1½" x ¾" piece at the Spine side where another Cover stuck to this one. Some small pieces of Cover surface were removed when I tried to remove it. I left the small remainder of it rather han damage the Cover further.
In General: Some light rolling at the right edge. Water apparently touched the book at the back so the rolling gradually decreases as one goes toward the front of book until there's nothing at the first 45 pages, or so. There are very small portions at the right where the Cover was lightly stuck to another Cover, but it's nothing very much. 3 light indents are at the top (about the size of telephone buttons). Again, nothing much.
Story: A Lord has a deep bond with his white dragon. Hmm.... 003420
