Spine: Slight edge wear at the top and bottom edges, but, again, nothing miuch.
Back Cover: 3 indents from water, but they're very gentle ones, plus the usual line at the Spine side from book opening.
In General: There's some faint pinkish colour bleed at the top edge (extending inward about 3/4") but it's mostly at the back pages. Spine: A 1/8" tear at the top, right edge, a 1/4" tear at the top edge, left side, and a triangular, 1/8" piece is missing at the bottom , left edge. Back Cover: A light, 1/4" crease at the top, left corner, and a 1/2" x 1 1/4" light water mark at the same corner, turning a portion of the slick paper slightly duller. There's also a 1/8" upturn at the bottom, left corner. There's a 1/4" very gentle roll at the top edge, from page 1 to page 55, where it disappears, but it's minor. In General: The Covers are missing but I made new ones for the book. The Spine's still with the book but it's torn, so I reglued it. Ink bleed at the edges throughout the book. Sometimes it's light, other times it's heavy bleed. Some water - rolled paper along the right edge. Pity, as it's a good collection of his short stories.
Story: Nine short stories, each with it's illustration. Strictly a Reading Copy because of the very poor shape it's in. The Bibliography of Dickson's writings is the most thorough I've seen (up to the date of this prnting, of course). A nice idea. 000978

Front Cover: A triangular piece (extending inward 1") is missing at the bottom right corner. The rest of the corner is creased. A previous Owner used Scotch tape to replace it but all it did was to fall off and leave a stain on the page. The top right corner has a ¼" creased corner. The three edges have 3-4 small tears (1/8" - ¼ " long) and there are a few other creases/handling marks, here-and-there. A 1" circular (?)water drop's at the bottom third of the Cover.
Spine: Small tears, mostly, as it's a bit worn from handling.
Back Cover: A bit beigey from age and there's a ¾ " triangular piece missing from the bottom left corner. Again, our previous Owner Scotch taped the gap but it fell off and left the brown mark.
In General: The first two pages have Scotch tape residue marking from what the taping done to the Front Cover and the last 3-4 pages also have a slight mark from the Cover taping I mentioned. Some other pages have small (1/8") pieces cut out. After this one sees the spots which probably bothered him/her so I presume he/she finally figured that it wasn't worth it to cut things out and left the rest alone.
A few other pages have what appears to be a bit of dirt on the bottom corners. Some black ink bleed (¼" - wide) is at the Spine side of the inside Front Cover and the inside of both Covers is a bit beigey. A page of ads at the front of the comic has been cut out and only a 1¼" stub is left. A double page at the middle of the comic is loose at the top staple.

Front Cover: A ¾" tear is at the (roughly) middle of the right edge and two slanted creases run from it. A couple of slanted creases are at the top right corner and a long one (half the Cover) runs from the top left corner. Some light handling marks are (mostly) on the bottom half of the Cover. A few small circular dulled areas and a slanted (1/8" - wide) dulled area are on the "gers" of the Title, but they're not noticeable unless held to a light to check the Cover.
Back Cover: An 1/8" - wide x ½" long bit of Cover is missing at the top left edge and there's an 1/8" tear, also at the top edge. Some round dulled spots from water are at the top 2" of the Cover and some light handling marks are at the bottom (left) third. The white Cover's now a bit beigey from age.
In General: It's possible that some water touched the bottom 2" of the pages (mostly at the right side) because of a very slight bumpiness to the paper at that spot. Two - three pages have a creased corner (¼' to ¾") and the inside of both Covers are slightly beigey at the edges (1").
