       $10.99 (Can.) is the original price. May, 1987. Tight binding. 212 pages and a couple of brief Biographies of Clarke at the back plus a page of Advertising. White paper with a small piece missing at the top right edge from page 205, plus. Nothing much.
Front Cover: Three fingernail indents and a bent top, right corner.
Back Cover: A bit so so as has handling marks. Definitely not as nice as the Front Cover but still acceptable.
Story: A takeover of Earth by superior Alien invaders pretending to want to help us. 005208

       August, 1968. $.75 is the original price. 207 pages plus Advertising. Light medium beige paper. Tight binding. Red colour on the edges. Contains: Maps on the inside of both Covers and first and last pages plus a number of black and white photos.
Front Cover: A couple of creases are at the top corner and three to four other small ones are on the Cover plus the usual manufacturing lines.
Spine: A couple of light creases down the middle from book opening.
Back Cover: A bent corner's at the top left plus a partial round indent's at the top of the Cover.
In General: The top right corner has two bends which are possibly from being bumped or dropped and these continue throughout the book at that spot.
Story: Clarke did underwater exploration along The Great Coral Reef just off Australia and this book's a recounting of how he spent his time there during exploring. It's a nicely written book and very interesting. Pity I'm no longer really collecting or I'd keep it. 004595

Spine: Light wear at the edges and a couple of indents from the surface paper being glued to the book.
Back Cover: Almost perfect with the exception of a " corner crease.
In General: A 1" indent's at the middle of the page beside the right side. Nothing much, though.

Spine: The usual light crease from book opening and the Spine's a bit bumpy.
Back Cover: A large 3" crease's at the bottom right and there are light scratches and some indents.
In General: Parts of the book in the final Chapter have blue outlining.
Story: Clarke was always a proponent of getting into Space and Mars as he was a Science fiction Writer from as far back as I can remember and he appeared in some of the earlier magazines I used to collect. He was instrumental in helping to get Satellite communications in orbit. When younger he worked on Radar. In later years he had a very good T.V. Series about Science and "other" things. The man was an Intellectual and well worth your time listening to. 004437

Story: The first flight into Space as imagined by Clarke. Actually, he was very good at predicting things as he was a trained Observer and was deeoly interested in it. In later years he had a very interesting TV program about unusual things on Earth. A man to be respected when alive and after his death. A true Pioneer of Space Flight. This is Clarke's first Science fiction book and the first publication in paperback form. This copy is in superb condition. 004684
