Drums of Mozambique, The, Baron von Breisky, Hubert
1 Baron von Breisky, Hubert Drums of Mozambique, The
U.S. Popular Library. #W1137. First Popular Library Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good Plus. Cover Art: Zuckerberg, Stanley.
December, 1963. $.75 is the original price. 351 pages. Tight binding. Light beige paper. Red colour's on the edges. Translator: Fitzgerald, Edward.
Spine: The Spine's slightly curved.
In General: The first page has a Blue Circle Bookstore stamp as they had a habit of branding all their stock as they rented out their books instead of just selling them.
Story: Love and adventure in Africa during the time of the Mau Mau uprising against the Colonial white Power that ruled the country. I believe this book was made into a movie. 004347

Flamingo Feather A Story of Africa, van der Post, Laurens
2 van der Post, Laurens Flamingo Feather A Story of Africa
Penguin Books. 1965 #2338. First Penguin Books Edition. Mass Market Paperback. About Very Good. Cover Photos: Rodger, George.
$1.25 is the original price. 303 pages plus some Advertising. Medium beige paper. Tight binding.
Front Cover: A few small creases are in the middle of the Cover.
Spine: A partial light crease's in the middle of the Spine and a small bit of edge wear's at the top and bottom. Nothing much.
Back Cover: Creasing's at the middle of the Cover and down to the bottom edge. Possibly the Cover was slightly jambed but I'm not certain.
In General: A small " tear's at the right corner of the first page and there's a dark mark at the top of the Front Cover where the original price sticker used to be but it fell off when I touched it. I don't know why people put some of these stickers on books when the sticker has the same price as was already printed on the Cover.
Story: This is a very interesting personal Story written by van der Post as he's an excellent Writer. I had another copy of this book several years ago but when I first began to browse the first page at that time I decided to keep it as it was so well written. Recommended. 004604
