U.K. 1 Pound 95 is the original price. 309 pages. Original creamy white paper. Cover Art: cBoorer, Reg. Bradbury, Ray October Country, The U.K. New Engish Library. 1970 #2817. First New English Library Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good. Water Touched. Stated to be the first printing of NEL but there have been 3 other editions by the same Company under their 4 Square printing. 5 Shillings is the original price. (U.K.). Tight binding. Orginal colour paper. Front Cover: A small triangular crease is at the Spine side, bottom (extending inward ¼"). Spine: A mild wrinkle/crease line down the middle from book opening. Back Cover: A small piece of Cover surface is missing where there was once a sticker (about 1/8" wide) as the outline is there. There's also an indent from water at the middle of the Cover. Derleth, August Trail of Cthulhu, The U.S. Arkham House. 1962 A True First Book Edition. Hard Cover, with Wrapper. Very Good. Water Touched. Wrapper: Very Good Minus. Cover Art: Taylor, Richard. $4.00 is the original price. 248 pages. Tight binding. The paper is just barely very light beigey. Front Cover: There are about 5 small triangular spots at the very bottom edge where some of the book's dye is partially removed. The right edge (from the bottom right) is about the same (for 1" in width) tapering upward until it stops about half-way up the right edge. The top of the book has a bit of dye removed widthwise (about ½" to ¾") with the largest part being at the middle of the top edge. Back Cover: A uniform spotting at the back of the Wrapper as this was the part which took the water's brunt. In General: The book's paper edges are just slightly darkened from dye at the bottom right edge (for about 1" widthwise and the same vertically). The first few pages have one light - brownish (1/8") spot each. The Wrapper has a light - brownish water outline (in a semi-circular pattern) on the front and back. The bottom edges of the Wrapper are torn and damaged (about 1½", front and back of the Wrapper). There's some staining and a bit of the book's dye is inside the Wrapper. Story: Derleth continues Lovecraft's idea of Cthulhu, the mythical monster from another Dimension. These are Short Story reprints from Weird Tales which used to be a fairly - good magazine for Horror. The price asked is about right as a Fine copy goes for around $200.00, and up. 000288 Price:
