In General: The magazine's indented at the middle due to water and the paper's a bit stiff. The pages have the usual palm-size type of water indenting. The bottom 1" also has a few creases from how it was stored by the Philistines when damp. The small colour Folio slightly stuck at the right edge but opened without more than a vertical line (1/8" wide) showing where they had stuck together.
Story: Authors such as Fritz Leiber, Carl Jacobi, Wellman, Brennan, Art by Finlay, Coye, et al. Schiff issued a very good magazine for that time frame. The magazine is a Weird Tales clone. 003896

Back Cover: An 1/8" triangular corner crease is at the bottom left and there's a very slight bit of edge wear at the bottom edge near the Spine.
In General: The bottom creased corner and right roll mentioned as being on the Front Cover extends through the book's pages at the same spot. Two faint red spots of colour have transferred from the Front Cover to the first page and there's a 1/8" high x ¾" bit of indenting at the bottom edge, close to the Spine. The bottom edge has light rolling/indenting from water (extending upward 1").

In General: The book is as new, with the exception that when printing it the machine grabbed a very small portion within pages 23-27 and tore it (2-3" long x 1/3" wide). The tears get progressively smaller and everything is still there. The cutting by the machine of the top edge left a small creased portion near the very top.
The Wrapper has a 3" tear along the flap folded under the Front Cover and a 2" tear is along the Back Cover flap. There's some spotting along the Spine edge, the back, and edges, plus a ¾" x 1" portion of the lower right Wrapper is damaged.

In General: The pages are very gently rolled, with pages 80-102 being most noticeable. I assume this is where water mostly touched the book. The first page has a small line where the printing presses sort of compressed the paper (I think).

Front Cover: There are about 5 small triangular spots at the very bottom edge where some of the book's dye is partially removed. The right edge (from the bottom right) is about the same (for 1" in width) tapering upward until it stops about half-way up the right edge. The top of the book has a bit of dye removed widthwise (about ½" to ¾") with the largest part being at the middle of the top edge.
Back Cover: A uniform spotting at the back of the Wrapper as this was the part which took the water's brunt.
In General: The book's paper edges are just slightly darkened from dye at the bottom right edge (for about 1" widthwise and the same vertically). The first few pages have one light - brownish (1/8") spot each. The Wrapper has a light - brownish water outline (in a semi-circular pattern) on the front and back. The bottom edges of the Wrapper are torn and damaged (about 1½", front and back of the Wrapper). There's some staining and a bit of the book's dye is inside the Wrapper.
Story: Derleth continues Lovecraft's idea of Cthulhu, the mythical monster from another Dimension. These are Short Story reprints from Weird Tales which used to be a fairly - good magazine for Horror. The price asked is about right as a Fine copy goes for around $200.00, and up. 000288

Page 127 has a bit of medium brown streaking, from water, at the top third of the page and some of the pages are a darker medium beige. Page 129 has a triangular corner crease at the top, right (extending inward, 1"), and the outline has travelled to a few pages on either side of it. The last page of book advertising has a triangular bottom corner crease (about 1" deep). There's a small bit of light rolling at the right edges of the pages (extending inward, 1/2").
